I will help you build the engineering team you need or strengthen the one you already have.
Founder Advising
Being a founder is a difficult and lonesome role. I can be a sounding board to help your organize your thoughts. Or I can walk you through ways to make complex decisions in ambiguous contexts.
Fractional CTO
Your team may not be large enough to need a full-time CTO (yet!). I can be on retainer or contract hourly to ensure your technological foundation is sound. I can guide architectural decisions with your team using my decades of industry experience.
Process Improvement
You may already have a product and engineering team hired, but they're having trouble shipping. I can find the root of the problem and teach the team how to correct it. I focus on impact, not dogma, so the process is built to meet your team where it's at.
Team Staffing
Hiring an engineering team is difficult and time consuming. I can lead the effort to ensure you hire people with the right amount of experience in the right kinds of technologies.
Step 1
Schedule a 30 minutes consultation where I can learn more about your business and its needs.
Step 2
Together we decide whether an hourly or retainer model works best for you.
Step 3
I meet regularly with you and your team to solve the problems and teach the skills needed to succeed.
I learned so much working with Ed @ WEconnect! Through interesting conversations and solving problems, Ed taught me how to think about software development, business strategy, and service delivery. He leads with humility and humor, and empowers people to be the best version of who they are.
Janet V., TPM, recovery coach and mentor
When I was still at WEconnect, Ed was a huge breath of fresh air. Pragmatic, empathetic, supportive and took the time to teach. As a junior dev at the time, I learned a lot from working alongside him -- he always advocated for his team, took time to understand different perspectives, and brought a really delightful energy to every interaction. What a gem.
